may 16 1970, Jim and I were married at Harcourt United Church. I was attending Guelph University. We eloped! About a dozen people attended the ceremony and we went to the Amber Cupola restaurant on Highway 6 right after. Our wedding party just walked in. I was in a wedding dress my roommate helped to make and we certainly surprised the staff walking in and asking fro a table for 12!!
